Long term resident of Sacramento County. Born October 15, 1935, passed away peacefully May 27, 2011 at the age of 75.

He leaves his wife, Lois, of 21 years, and four children, Brian Smith Kingwell (Sacramento), Karin Smith Kister (Rocklin), Scott A. Beringer (Elk Grove) and Cynthia Blackson (Elk Grove), sister Rhoda Smith Stewart (Rancho Cordova), mother-in-law Ruth Nasser (Sharon, Pennsylvania) eight grandchildren, and six nieces and nephews.

425 SOUTH BARNARD - Robert L. Pearsons, 75, died March 21, 2010, at his home.

He was born Jan. 17, 1935, in South Barnard, the son of Lee and Vera (Powell) Pearsons, one of 10 children.

On July 2, 1955, Mr. Pearsons married Judith French of Woodstock. They raised their three children in South Barnard. Mrs. Pearsons died in 1992.

Survivors include two daughters, Robin McGruder of Woodstock and Gail French of Denver, Colo.; a son, Jeffrey Pearsons of Brownsville; and four grandchildren.
