      ALEXANDER2 (Robert1), b. March 30, 1792; m. 1823, Jean, dau. Robert Gilfillan; farmer on "the Alex. Blair place." He d. Apr. 14, 1883; she d. 1887.
      Children:
      I.Robert,3 b. Apr. 20, 1824; m. Martha Martin of Great Falls, N.H.; d. in Barnet, 1896.
      II.Alexander, 3 b. Jan. 1, 1826; m. Harriet Stoddard of Waterford in 1862; farmer on home farm; d. Apr. 79, 1912; no children; widow adopted a boy after his death.
      III.Jane, 3 b. Apr. 30, 1828; tailoress; member Lawrence St. Cong. Ch., Lawrence, Mass.; m. Sept. 7, 1853, George Sanborn of Lawrence, a carpenter. She d. 1906. Children: George and Genevieve.
      IV.John, 3 b. Aug. 15, 1830; hack driver in New York City; d. there, un m.
      V.William, 3 b. Sept. 4, 1832; farmer; d. in Barnet, un m.
      VI.Margaret G., 3 b. Oct. 1, 1834; dressmaker; un m.; lives with nephew, George W. Blair, Wildwood Farm, St. Johnsbury.
