John Blair One Blair family in my line lived in Bennington, Bennington, Vermont from about 1825 to 1855. I will insert (?) after any information which is a guess on my part. John Blair b.26 MAY 1799 married Betsey (or Betsy or Elizabeth) Wiltse b.1807 on about 1825 (?) in Albany, New York(?). They settled in Bennington, Vermont, and had seven children, all born in Bennington. The family, except for daughter Lucy, moved to Saratoga Township, Minnesota, in 1855. Father: John Blair b.26 MAY 1799 in Ware, Hampshire, Massachusetts d.24 JUL 1976 in Albany, Albany, New York, bur. Albany Rural Cemetery. Parents were John Blair b.23 OCT 1766 d.7 MAY 1838 and Lucy Pepper b.4 MAR 1744 in New Braintree, Worcester, Massachusetts d. 24 NOV 1862. Parents buried on Myra Green Farm, N. Petersburg, New York. Mother: Betsey (or Betsy or Elizabeth) Wiltse b.1807 in Vermont or Hoosec now Hoosick), Rensselaer, New York d.1873 in Saratoga, Winona, Minnesota, bur. in Worth Cemetery, Saratoga, Winona, Minnesota. Parents were Thomas Wiltse (?) and Polly (?). Married: 1825 (?) in Albany, New York (?). Children: All born in Bennington, Bennington, Vermont. Elizabeth Blair b1826, married William Schermerhorn; John Thomas Blair b.21 NOV 1827 d.29 OCT 1919, married Evaline Clark 24 FEB 1850; Harriet Blair b.1830 d.1857 Married Warren; George Wells Blair b.1 OCT 1831, d.22 FEB 1897, married Melissa Deuel 17 SEP 1854; Lucy Blair b.1833 (?) d.
